DermDoc has launched heel repair foot cream in 2 variants – with urea and with Provitamin B5. I was quite curious about the cream that contains urea so, I purchased that and here is its detailed review. Packaging

DermDoc Heel Repair Foot Cream comes in a blue plastic container and is provided with a shiny silver screw cap. Beneath the cap is given a protective lid to avoid product spill. The cream itself comes encased in a white coloured cardboard box that bears all the product-related details. Overall, the packaging is simple and travel-friendly however, is not hygienic.

My Experience With DermDoc Heel Repair Foot Cream With Urea

The cream is white in colour and has an amazing soft texture and a light consistency. It has a strong flowery fragrance that I really liked however, it can be bothering for some as it stays for some time.

Urea is a waste-product which our body excretes through sweat and urine. So, I was really curious to know how urea can be helpful in treating skin conditions. Therefore, I tried to gather some information about it and found that it is used in skincare for its keratolytic and hydrating properties and offers gentle exfoliation and moisturisation at the same time. The heels and soles of our feet are prone to dryness due to daily physical activities that lead to the development of cracks. Application of foot cream containing urea on a regular basis helps in keeping the skin hydrated thereby treating dry and cracked heels.

Efficacy

DermDoc Heel Repair Foot Cream spreads easily on the skin and gets absorbed with a little massage. The moment the cream gets absorbed into the skin, it makes it so soft and smooth instantly. It offers a high dose of hydration to the skin making it plump and healthy. I am also applying this cream on my elbows and loving the way it softens the dry areas. I am applying this cream on my feet twice a day – in the morning and at night as well and it effectively removes the dead skin cells, keeps the skin moisturized and soft throughout without being heavy on the skin. Fortunately, I don’t have cracks in my heels as I am following my foot care regime religiously for the past so many years. But, I apply this cream to keep them moisturized so as to prevent the development of any cracks. Moreover, urea has anti-bacterial properties as well. I have never ever tried urea infused creams or lotions before but to my surprise, this ingredient actually does wonders to the skin.

Overall, I absolutely loved DermDoc Heel Repair Foot Cream with urea and would definitely suggest trying this to heal and treat dry and cracked heels.

Not So Good About DermDoc Heel Repair Foot Cream

• Has a strong fragrance that can be bothering for some however, as far as I am concerned, I really liked this fragrance.
