Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing the review of New Shade Of Faces Glam On Velvet Matte Lipstick – Cotton Candy Pink 20.

Faces Canada has added 9 new shades to its Glam On Velvet Matte Range recently which are available at nykaa.com only. Out of 9 shades that are added to the range, only 7 were available. However, out of those 7, only one shade was available and the rest were out of stock. So, there was no other option left than buying that one shade and that shade was Cotton Candy Pink 20. Faces Glam On Velvet Matte Lipstick – Cotton Candy Pink 20 has a black and gold cylindrical shape. It is provided with a transparent cap that closes tightly with a click sound. Moreover, with this transparent cap, it becomes easy to identify the shade. The lipstick itself comes encased in a shiny black and gold cardboard box that looks quite attractive. It bears all the product-related details on it. Overall, I absolutely loved this elegant and classy packaging. Absolutely GLAM!!

My Experience With Faces Glam On Velvet Matte Lipstick – Cotton Candy Pink 20

The shade Cotton Candy Pink 20 is a corally pink colour that will suit fair to medium skin tones however, it can wash out dusky skin tones. The shade is perfect for everyday wear and for the summer season as well.

The lipstick glides easily on the lips without any tugging or pulling. It is quite pigmented, offers rich colour pay-off and only two swipes are required to get an opaque colour. True to its name, the lipstick settles into a velvety matte finish. It has mild butterscotch like fragrance that doesn’t stay for long so, it will not bother sensitive noses.

The best part about Faces Glam On Velvet Matte Lipstick – Cotton Candy Pink 20 is that it is super comfortable on lips and doesn’t dry them out at all. True to its claims, it keeps the lips moisturized throughout and you don’t need any lip-prepping.

Staying Power Of Faces Glam On Velvet Matte Lipstick

The lipstick is not transfer-proof and transfers easily on cups and glasses. It is not smudge-proof as well. On my lips, it stays for around 3 hours without disturbing. The lipstick can survive light snacks and drinks but fades after having a full meal and needs re-application.

Overall, I liked Faces Glam On Velvet Matte Lipstick – Cotton Candy Pink 20 but if I compare it with recently launched Faces Canada Weightless Matte Finish Lipstick, then I would definitely love to go for the latter as it is more economical and delivers similar results.
