Packaging

The cream comes in a white sturdy plastic jar and is provided with a black screw cap. The packaging is quite simple and there is nothing fancy about it. It is travel-friendly however, is unhygienic as you need to dip-in your fingers to take the product out.

My Experience With Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb

Appearance Of Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb
Appearance

The cream is very light blue in colour and has a wonderful gel-like texture. The texture and the colour of this cream are quite similar to Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. It has a very mild citrusy fragrance that just vanishes after the application. It is quite lightweight and spreads easily and gets absorbed into the skin within seconds. The moment I applied this cream on the skin, I could feel the watery texture as if I have splashed some water on the face. So, the cream is true to its name – The Aqua Bomb. I felt that refreshing and cooling sensation (not like menthol-based products that tingle) which is so required during hot summer days.

Efficacy

As shared above, the cream instantly gets absorbed into the skin and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue. It is non-greasy and very lightweight on the skin. The cream instantly adds a boost of hydration making the skin super soft and smooth. I have also noticed that for a couple of minutes, the cream does give a bit of dewy sheen on the skin. Though, it gives that quenched skin feel but it doesn’t help in controlling oil. It keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day and is apt for normal, combination and oily skin types. However, I feel that for those having extremely dry skin, this cream may not be able to do justice as such skin requires intensive treatment. What can be done in that case is mix the cream with a couple of drops of facial oil and then apply to get that extra nourishment.

One can use this cream as day and night cream, before applying makeup to keep the skin hydrated, as an ultra-hydrating sleeping mask that can be left overnight and mix it with high coverage foundation and use it as a tinted moisturizer.

Overall, I really liked Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb as it is non-greasy, lightweight and keeps my combination skin hydrated making it super soft and smooth. So, I would definitely recommend buying this cream. However, I cannot comment on its claim of minimizing the appearance of pores as fortunately, I don’t have that issue.

Not So Good About Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb
