My Experience with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Polish

I have purchased 2 shades:

413 Expresso

413 Expresso
413 Expresso

563 Silver Stallion

Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Polish - 563 Silver Stallion
563 Silver Stallion

Please refer to the images provided to get a clear idea about the shades. The applicator provided is long and so it offers very easy application. The bristles of the brush are quite dense so, the applicator holds the product in a right quantity and you don’t need to dip in the brush again and again to get the product. The nail enamel has a medium consistency so it spreads easily on the nail. It does have fragrance however, it doesn’t stay for long so, people like me having sensitive noses need not to bother about it.

Let’s talk about the pigmentation. The shade 413 Expresso is super-pigmented and all you need is a single coat. Also, its application is quite smooth and not streaky. However, the shade 563 Silver Stallion is a little less pigmented in comparison and it gives a bit streaky application. You need to give two coats to get the desired results. However, in both the cases, the result was a true color match on the nail to the color in the bottle. The nail polish claims to give super glossy nails however, I feel that the darker shade gives that glossy effect but the lighter one doesn’t.

The product also claims to get dry up within 60 seconds and it is true. The single coat gets dry in the claimed time however, two coats definitely need a little more time. This is the best part about this nail polish as I don’t like to keep waiting for 10-15 minutes for my nail polish to get dry. So, this nail polish is Insta-handy and you can apply it even if you have only five minutes before heading out.

Let’s talk about the staying power. The nail polish stayed on my nails for good 4-5 days without chipping which I believe is great.

Overall, I really liked Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Polish because of the fact that it gets dry super-quick however, I think, the lighter shades are a little less pigmented and don’t give the required super-glossy effect on the nails.
