In one of my previous posts, I shared with that Biotique has come up with its ‘Natural Makeup Range’ and the whole range is available at nykaa.com. The range is categorized into 3 categories:

Packaging

Biotique Natural Makeup Magicolor Lipstick comes in a pink coloured plastic casing. However, it is difficult to identify the shade so, you need to open the cap. At the base of the lipstick is given a sticker on which shade name and number are mentioned however, it is not colour coded. The lipstick comes encased in an attractive pink and green coloured cardboard box on which some images of flowers and a woman’s face can be seen. Overall, the packaging looks quite colourful, nice and travel-friendly.

My Experience With Biotique Natural Makeup Magicolor Lipstick

I have this lipstick in the shade Winter Kiss BR11 which is a beautiful pinky plum kind of shade. Please excuse me for not able to describe the shade well and refer to the image provided to get a clearer picture. The shade will suit all irrespective of skin tones and is perfect for the winter season hence, it justifies its name. The shade instantly brightens up the face thereby making it apt to wear for the festivals/parties.

The lipstick has a creamy/buttery texture and glides like a dream. I absolutely love such textures that glide smoothly without any tugging. It has a strong flowery fragrance that stays for a long time. Though, I am not much sensitive to any fragrances but their long stay give me a headache. So, I am sure that the fragrance will bother sensitive noses as it is overpowering.

Biotique Natural Makeup Magicolor Lipstick is richly pigmented and offers good colour pay-off. Even if you have pigmented lips, you need to give only two swipes to get the required colour. The lipstick is quite comfortable and lightweight on the lips. It settles into a satiny finish and keeps the lips moisturized throughout the stay. So, it is the best option for those having dry lips.

Let’s talk about the staying power of the lipstick. It is not smudge-proof and transfers easily as well. With light snacks & beverages, the lipstick stays for around 3 hours on my lips. Whether the lipstick can survive a complete meal or not, it depends on the type of food that you are having. With oily foods and foods like pizza, noodles, etc. the lipstick will definitely fade and needs re-application.

Overall, I liked Biotique Natural Makeup Magicolor Lipstick as it is 100% organic so is not harmful to the lips , creamy, glides easily, richly pigmented, keeps the lips moisturized, offers satiny finish and is quite affordable. So, I would definitely recommend buying this lipstick.
