Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing Faces Canada Color Balm review.
The best way to keep the lips well moisturized is to apply lip balms. What if you own a lip balm that can moisturize your lips and can add a pop of colour to them as well? That will be like an icing on the cake!! Right… Faces Canada Color Balm is one such lip balm that performs both the functions. I have been using this lip balm for quite some time and so, here is its detailed review.
Faces Canada Color Balm Review
The balm is available in 3 variants – Orange + Mint, Rose Petal and Water Melon. I have purchased the Rose Petal and Water Melon.
- With these lip balms go from dry, lifeless lips to moisturised, luscious lips.
- This convenient stick is deeply moisturizing and keeps lips hydrated for 12 hrs!
- Vitamin C and E along with shea butter makes lips soft, supple, and smooth-as-silk.
- The rich texture of the formula goes on smoothly leaving a glossy sheen and the fruity flavour will make you fall in love with every swipe!
- Made without harmful chemicals like parabens or alcohol.
- The antioxidant-rich fruit extracts prevent discolouration of lips and SPF15 prevents tanning.

The lip balm comes in a convenient, retractable bullet tube and is encased in a cute cardboard packaging. All the product-related details can be seen on the cardboard casing. The best part is that the packaging is colour co-ordinated with the shade of lip balm. The packaging is quite sleek, light-weight and sturdy. The cap provided on the tube closes with a click sound that makes the product secure. So, it is travel-friendly as well.
My Experience With Faces Canada Color Balm
As shared above, I have purchased this lip balm in the shade Rose Petal which is a beautiful rosy red colour and Water Melon which is light baby pink in colour. The tinted lip balms are the best choice for those who don’t use lipsticks at all.
Texture And Fragrance
The Lip Balm has a smooth texture and a creamy consistency. It glides on the lips easily and makes my lips soft and supple. The Water Melon variant has a mild fruity fragrance and Rose Petal has a mild fragrance of roses. The fragrance vanishes immediately after the application so, it will not bother sensitive noses.
The lip balm has a good staying power. Like other lip balms, this one also stays on for about 3-4 hours without any meals and drinks. So, it doesn’t fulfill the claim of offering 12 hours of hydration and needs reapplication.
Let’s see how effective is this lip balm in keeping the lips moisturized and hydrated? Enriched with shea butter, the lip balm is really very effective. It keeps the lips moisturised, soft and supple. It gives a nice sheen to the lips and adds a pop of colour as well. As far as the case of its colour intensity is concerned, the Rose Petal variant is quite pigmented and offers good colour pay off. Even if you have pigmented lips, it will hide the pigmentation. However, the Water Melon variant doesn’t offer good colour pay off and will not be suitable for the pigmented lips. Even if you apply 3-4 coats, it will not hide the pigmentation.
Also, this lip balm comes with SPF 15 which makes it a good choice as it offers some protection to the lips against sun.
Overall, I liked Faces Canada Color Balm and would definitely recommend trying this. If you are looking a good tinted lip balm then, you can go for the Rose Petal one and if you want to have a natural pinky sheen on your lips then, you can try the Water Melon one.
Not So Good About Faces Canada Color Balm
- The ingredient list is missing.
- Doesn’t fulfill its claim of offering hydration for 12 hrs.
- The Water Melon variant doesn’t offer good colour pay off.
My Rating – 3.5/5
