Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Serum Mask comes in a black coloured pouch with illustrations of black charcoal on it thereby justifying its name. All the product-related details are mentioned on the backside of the pouch. The areas are marked on the top two corners of the pouch from where you can tear it off. The packaging is quite travel-friendly, you don’t need a pair of scissors to cut it open and can use it any time during your travel as well.

My Experience With Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Serum Mask

After ripping open the pouch, I took out the sheet mask that was lying nicely folded inside. It appears black in colour and was fully soaked with serum. After taking the sheet out, there was still some serum left in the pouch that can be used later. Unlike various other sheet masks, this mask was not provided with any extra protective sheet which makes it so easy to put on.

The serum is transparent and has a light consistency. It has a nice but a little strong refreshing fragrance that I really liked. I am not much sensitive to the fragrances but if you are then, this fragrance can bother you because it stays even after taking the sheet mask off the face.

According to the usage directions, I put the Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Serum Mask on my clean face and it fitted me well and was not slipping and sliding around like some other sheet masks tend to do. I kept the mask on my face for 15 minutes and during that period it didn’t cause any sort of discomfort to my skin. However, I did feel a mild tingling sensation which ensured that the mask was working.

Efficacy

When I removed the mask, there was enough serum on my face so, I pressed it into my skin and examined the results. Once the serum gets completely absorbed into the skin it doesn’t feel sticky. I have combination skin and the serum didn’t feel heavy on it.

Actually, I deliberately took the decision to try this mask on my face when I came back from a short trip so that I could see its efficacy. To my surprise, I got some wonderful results. My skin was looking so clear, plump and refreshed. I could also see a nice healthy glow on my skin and the mask actually soaked up all the impurities, dirt and grime from my face making it look clean and clear. The good part is that it doesn’t dry out the skin so, people with dry skin types can also use this mask. It effectively keeps skin hydrated. Now, as far as its claims of tightening pores is concerned, it actually helps in that aspect as well and clears them out.

Overall, I really liked Garnier Pure Charcoal Black Serum Mask and it is an effective purifying and hydrating treatment for the skin. So, I would definitely recommend trying this mask.
