Good Vibes Argan Softening Hair Cream comes in a brown coloured plastic jar packaging. It is provided with a golden coloured screw cap beneath which is given a plastic cover to prevent product spillage. All the product-related details are mentioned on the jar itself. However, the packaging is unhygienic as you need to dip in your fingers to take the product out.

My Experience With Good Vibes Argan Softening Hair Cream

Just like Good vibes Keratin Strengthening Hair Cream, this cream is also white in colour and has a smooth, creamy & thick consistency. It has a fragrance similar to what we get in Amla oils. If you have ever tried amla oils, you will be able to relate with that. The fragrance stays for a day in hair after rinsing however, it is very mild and not headache inducing.

I applied the cream on my shampooed and towel dried hair. Under ‘How To Use’ section on purplle’s site it is mentioned to use cream starting from roots and go for full coverage. I thought to apply the cream starting from the roots and focusing more on the ends of hair. I kept the hair cream for 15 minutes and then rinsed it off.

Claims & Results

Good Vibes Argan Softening Hair Cream claims to nourish, soften and to add shine to your damaged hair. Post rinsing and drying, my hair do become softer, smooth and I could also see a healthy shine in them. However, the cream weighed down them and it also lowered the hair volume. They were looking a little greasy, especially from the crown area. The results were similar to what we get after shampooing heavily oiled hair as if some oil is still left in them. Hair were not looking bouncy at all. It is also mentioned on purplle’s site to use the cream as a styling cream however, I don’t think so one can use it for styling as it makes hair greasy. Moreover, the usage directions on the product say to rinse the hair cream after 10-15 minutes. So, there is confusion. As far as I am concerned, I will not be using this hair cream for styling my hair.

Conclusion

What I concluded from the above results is that the cream does help in softening, smoothening of the hair and also helps in nourishing and making them look shiny but it should not be applied from the roots. Also, apply the cream in less quantity and make sure not to keep it for more than 15 minutes else it will weigh down and reduce the volume of your hair.
