I have already shared my review on i-amsterDAMN Matte Liquid Lipsticks and was really satisfied with the product. So, I thought of trying i-amsterDAMN Matte Lipsticks as well and purchased this lipstick in the shade Big Chief 6 from the collection called DARWIN HYBRID so, let’s see the detailed review of these lipsticks.

These lipsticks come in a black casing with a silver lining in the middle. Some criss-cross pattern is made on the black casing to give these lipsticks an attractive look. The details (number and name) of the shade are mentioned on the base of the lipstick. These lipsticks come encased in a white coloured cardboard packaging with beautiful images of Darwin Hybrid Tulips printed on it. All the necessary details are mentioned on the outer packaging such as ingredients, product claims, expiry date etc. Overall, the packaging is quite sturdy and convenient to carry and therefore, it is travel-friendly.

Colour, Texture, Formula, Pigmentation And Finish

• i-amsterDAMN Matte Lipstick Darwin Hybrid – Big Chief 6 is a beautiful shade from the red family that will suit all skin tones for sure.
• It has a very soft and creamy texture.
• Moreover, the lipstick glides on the lips easily and is very comfortable to wear.
• As the lipstick is enriched with vitamin E and castor oil that are very beneficial for our lips. Castor oil penetrates into our skin tissues and offers moisturization. On the other hand, vitamin E helps in making our lips soft and supple. Therefore, the lipstick doesn’t dry out the lips at all.
• Rather, it moisturizes the lips and makes them soft and supple.
• Speaking of the pigmentation, the lipstick does an amazing job.
• The shade is intensely pigmented and gives a good colour pay off in a single swipe. You can get opaque lips in two swipes only.
• The lipstick settles into a creamy matte finish. I cannot say that it is completely matte as it has a light sheen in it.
• Furthermore, the shade Big Chief 6 instantly brightens up the face.

Wearability, Transferability, Staying Power i-amsterDAMN Matte Lipsticks

• The lipstick is very comfortable to wear and feels light on the lips. It doesn’t give any stretchy feeling to the lips.
• The lipstick is not waterproof. However, it will not bleed while washing your face or if you are stuck in a rain. So, by that means, I can say that it is water resistant.
• However, it is not transfer resistant. It transfers very easily.
• It is also not smudge-proof however, it doesn’t claim to be.
• So, you will need a touch up after eating or drinking something. However, it will not bleed at all.
• Without disturbing, the lipstick stays on the lips for around 5 hours.
• If you are having light snacks and drinks, then the intensity of the shade will decrease. However, it will not fade off completely. But after having a full meal, the lipstick will fade away. However, its longevity can be increased using a lip liner.
• One thing that needs to be kept in mind, the lipstick is not waterproof. So, if you lick or rub your lips, it will come off very easily.

Overall, I liked i-amsterDAMN Matte Lipsticks as these are toxicity free, intensely pigmented, give good colour pay off in a single swipe, enriched with castor oil and vitamin E, don’t dry out the lips and are quite affordable. So, I would definitely recommend giving these lipsticks a try.
