Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick comes in a silver coloured matte plastic case with a clear cap. The cap provided shuts properly ensuring it to be travel-friendly. The lipstick comes encased in a silver cardboard box with the product description mentioned on it. However, the ingredient list is not mentioned anywhere. Overall, I didn’t like the packaging much because Lakme always delivers well in terms of packaging but this time I can only say that the packaging could have been better.

How To Apply?
Step 1: Make sure to prep your lips before applying the lipstick.
Step 2: Start applying from the middle of your lips and work towards the outer edges. Glide across the entire lower lip.
Step 3: To get an intense colour payoff, blot the lipstick once with a tissue and reapply it.

My Experience With Lakme Enrich Matte Lipstick
The moment I heard of this new matte range, I was eager to try these out as for daily wear I prefer matte formula. I purchased this lipstick in the shade RM 10 which is a beautiful deep plum shade and suits all Indian skin tones very well. So, here is my experience with this lipstick.

Texture And Fragrance
The lipstick has a soft, creamy texture. It glides on the lips easily without any pulling or tugging. According to me, some shades settle into a completely matte finish while a few settle into semi-matte.
The lipstick has a sweet flowery kind of fragrance that I really liked. However, it can irritate sensitive noses. The fragrance vanishes after a few minutes of application.

Pigmentation And Performance
The lipstick offers decent pigmentation. However, in order to get a fully opaque finish, you need to give a minimum of two to three swipes on your lips (especially in case of lighter shades). Though, the lipstick is comfortable to wear but it tends to highlight the dry areas on the lips and also settles into lip lines. This is because of its powdery texture. The lipstick fades unevenly and leaves behind a stain which is hard to remove.
Staying Power
If you are taking light snacks, then the lipstick will stay for 3-4 hours. However, after taking heavy meals, it needs a touch-up.

This lipstick is available in a wide range of 25 vibrant shades that will definitely suit every skin tone. It comes in shades ranging from pinks to reds and n*des to mauves. Some abbreviations are used in the naming of the shades – BM, RM, WM, PM and OM. These stand for Brown matte, Red matte, Wine matte, Pink matte and Orange matte respectively. So, let’s take a look at the different shades of this lipstick.

- Settles into lines
- Leaves a stain which is hard to remove
- Packaging is not that good
So, if you want to try a matte finish lipstick which is affordable and will leave a hole in your pocket then, you can go for this lipstick. However, if you are looking for good performance lipstick then you can miss this product. Those who have quite dry lips should not go for this lipstick.
