Lakme Lumi Cream comes in a shiny white tube packaging and is provided with a flip open cap. The tube is quite compact thereby making it travel-friendly and you can also control the amount of the product. The tube comes encased in a similar shiny, white-coloured cardboard box bearing all the product-related details on it.

My Experience with Lakme Lumi Cream Moisturiser with Highlighter

The cream is pinkish in colour and has a light consistency. It is heavily scented and the fragrance stays for some time so, it can bother people with sensitive noses and can induce headache. The cream contains micro-shimmers that give a nice sheen and you will notice them on your skin on observing closely. The sheen/glow that this cream offers is sheer but it is buildable.

As far as my experience is concerned, I didn’t like this cream much because on application, it just clung to the dry patches of my skin. Also, it highlighted my pores. Moreover, I felt as if it forms a layer on my skin and doesn’t get absorbed completely. The cream is quite lightweight and offers mild moisturization. So, people with dry skin types may not like it much. All they can do is mix the cream with some good moisturizer and then apply it to get that glowy effect.

The product claims that it is a skincare combined with makeup however, I don’t feel it is the case because it just makes your skin appear hydrated and glowy but otherwise it is not actually making your skin hydrated or moisturized from within and then appear radiant and vibrant. So, according to me it falls into the category of makeup. Yes, it highlights the skin so, you can easily use it under your makeup to get that glowy look. You can also use it on top of your foundation as a highlighter on the high points of your face.
