Makeup Revolution has come up with a new range of makeup called New Neutral. This range includes satin matte lipsticks, translucent pressed powder, eye shadow palette, brush set, etc. When I came to know that Nykaa has the satin lipstick so, I decided to try it and purchased it in the shade Thirst as only this shade was available on nykaa. Let’s see how this lipstick performed.

Makeup Revolution Pro New Neutral Satin Matte Lipstick comes in a golden plastic casing with embossed animal print on it. It is quite eye-catching and looks impressive however, the tube is not as weighty as I was expecting it to be. I absolutely loved Faces Canada Belle De Luxe Jewel Cut Lipstick packaging however, it is quite expensive and so justifies the price. The lipstick comes encased in a similar cardboard box and bears the product-related details on it. The shade name is mentioned on the outer box as well as at the base of the lipstick. The packaging is travel-friendly however, it is not possible to identify the shades from the outer casing. You either need to check the shade number provided at the base or you will have to open the cap.

My Experience With Makeup Revolution Pro New Neutral Satin Matte Lipstick

I have the lipstick in the shade Thirst which is such a beautiful purple shade and will suit all skin tones. This shade can be a perfect n*de purple shade for dusky skin tones. The lipstick has a smooth, creamy texture and glides easily and smoothly on the lips. It has a mild fragrance that vanishes after the application so, sensitive noses need not worry about that.

The lipstick is quite pigmented and offers good colour pay-off. You need to give 2 swipes to get the required colour on the lips. The lipstick claims to offer a satiny matte finish however, it looks more on the matte side rather than satiny. The good part about the lipstick is that it doesn’t accentuate fine lines on the lips and is not too drying like other matte lipsticks. But, if you have extremely dry lips then, make sure to apply a light layer of lip balm before putting on this lipstick. The lipstick is lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the lips.

Staying Power Of Makeup Revolution Pro New Neutral Satin Matte Lipstick

The lipstick is neither transfer-proof not smudge-proof but it doesn’t transfer much. With light snacks and beverages, it stays for 4-5 hours on my lips however, it needs reapplication after having a complete meal.

Overall, Makeup Revolution Pro New Neutral Satin Matte Lipstick is a decent lipstick and if you are looking for some matte formula that is not too drying on the lips, lightweight and stays for a pretty decent time then, you can definitely go for this lipstick.
