Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing Maybelline ColorSensational Matte Metallic Lipstick Review.

Matte with metallic finish – it was a little puzzling for me. I have never tried this combination so, I was curious to see how the finish will look on my lips. Therefore, I picked one from the range in the shade 25 Copper Rose and here is its detailed review. Packaging

The packaging of all the lipsticks from colorsensational range is almost similar. The only difference lies in the colour of the cap. This lipstick has a translucent black coloured plastic cap and the tube has a mirror finish. At the base of the lipstick is given colour-coded sticker that bears the shade name and number. The lipstick comes wrapped in a cellophane paper on which were given product-related details. Overall, the packaging is simple and travel-friendly.

My Experience With Maybelline ColorSensational Matte Metallic Lipstick – 25 Copper Rose

All the shades in this collection are quite unique however most of the shades are dramatic and cannot be worn on a daily basis. So, I chose 25 Copper Rose which is a rosy plum kind of shade that will suit across skin tones. The lipstick is loaded with a lot of finely milled copper shimmers in it which makes it pretty metallic and add dimension to it.

Now, the metallic finish means shiny and metallic. On the other hand, matte is opposite to this finish. The lipstick is metallic matte which is quite unique. It is metallic but not like that liquid metal look and has a subtle metallic glint. The matte-ness of the formula dampens the ability of the shimmers to shine but a wide array of tonal shift makes it looks so pretty. I absolutely loved this finish on my lips.

The lipstick has a soft and smooth texture and glides easily on the lips. It has a sweet fragrance that stays for some time which is a little bothering for me. The lipstick has a sheer pigmentation and it requires 2-3 swipes to get the required colour. It is quite lightweight and doesn’t feel sticky on the lips. Moreover, the lipstick doesn’t settle into the fine lines and is neither drying nor enough moisturizing for those having extremely dry lips. It is not smudge-proof and transfers a little as well. On my lips, it stays for around 3-4 hours without disturbing. After having meals, it fades from the center and inner corners of the upper lips so needs reapplication.

I hope I have explained the texture and finish of the lipstick in the right manner. Overall, I loved the finish and texture of Maybelline ColorSensational Matte Metallic Lipstick so, I would definitely recommend trying this.

Not So Good About Maybelline ColorSensational Matte Metallic Lipstick

• Fragrance can bother sensitive noses.
• Pigmentation could have been better.
• Not smudge-proof and transfers a little as well.
