Mauve Power 407 is a deep mauve shade and belongs to the purple family.  This shade will suit every skin tone especially on medium to fair skin tones, the shade will look amazing. One can easily wear this shade during daytime as well as rock it at a night party. The Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Mauve Power 407 is quite pigmented and two swipes are enough to get the opaque colour on the lips. The shade can easily hide pigmented lips. It has a mild candy-like fragrance that vanishes after a few seconds of application.

Texture & Finish

Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Mauve Power 407 has a creamy, soft and moisturizing texture. It glides on the lips easily just like butter. The lipstick settles somewhere between creamy and glossy finish. It doesn’t dry out the lips and keeps them moisturized. Moreover, it doesn’t bleed and also it doesn’t give a sticky feel to the lips.

Staying Power

Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Mauve Power 407 stays for 3-4 hours and cannot survive meals. You need to reply the lipstick after having full meals as it is not transfer-proof and smudge proof. However, this shade leaves behind a deep stain on the lips.

Overall, I really liked Maybelline ColorShow Lipstick Mauve Power 407 as it is quite pigmented, has a creamy, soft and moisturizing texture, glides on the lips easily, keeps them moisturized, stays for 3-4 hours, settles into the creamy glossy finish and is quite affordable. So, I would definitely recommend buying this lipstick.
