Maybelline Creamy Matte City Heat The Bricks Collection Lipstick Review – New Launch

Hi Everyone!! Today, I am sharing Maybelline Creamy Matte City Heat The Bricks Collection Lipstick Review.

I own a lot of lipsticks with different formula from Maybelline and I really loved each one of them. Now, inspired by the colours of New York’s iconic architecture, Maybelline has recently launched a new collection called ‘City Heat The Bricks Collection’. This collection is a Limited Edition Festive Collection and includes 6 warm n*de shades. I have purchased this lipstick in the shade 06 Noho Amber and here is its detailed review. I have also shared my review on recently launched Maybelline x alice+olivia Creamy Matte Lipstick, Maybelline Shine Compulsion Lipstick and Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick so, you can check these posts as well.

The lipstick comes in a mirror finish silvery tube. It is provided with a colour-coordinated cap so, it is quite easy to identify the shade. The lipstick comes wrapped in a cellophane paper that bears some product-related details on it. At the base of the lipstick is given a sticker which is not colour coded but bears the shade name and number.

My Experience With Maybelline Creamy Matte City Heat The Bricks Collection Lipstick – 06 Noho Amber

Swatch Of 06 Noho Amber

The shade 06 Noho Amber is a bold chilly red shade that will suit across skin tones. It is a perfect shade to wear for the festive season.

The lipstick has a creamy texture and glides on the lips smoothly & effortlessly like butter. It is richly pigmented and all you need is one swipe to get an opaque colour on the lips. The lipstick is quite comfortable and lightweight on the lips. It settles into a creamy matte finish. It keeps the lips moisturized and is the best option for those having dry lips.

Let’s talk about the staying power of the lipstick. It is not smudge-proof and transfers easily as well. With light snacks & beverages, the lipstick stays for 3-4 hours on my lips. However, it cannot survive meals and needs reapplication. As far as I am concerned, I really like creamy, matte finish so, I don’t mind reapplying it after 3-4 hours.

Overall, my experience with Maybelline Creamy Matte City Heat The Bricks Collection Lipstick was good and I would definitely recommend those who have dry lips and are looking for such a creamy matte lipstick that doesn’t dry out the lips.
