Elle 18 has recently launched Color Pops Silk Lipstick Range in 7 shades. I have purchased the lipstick in the shade W52. Elle 18 is a very affordable brand and I really wanted to pick up all the shades, however, only one shade was available at the time of purchase so, I was not left with any other option. So, here is its detailed review.

The lipstick comes in a classic black coloured plastic packaging with the trademark image of a girl’s face on it. The cap provided shuts with a click sound making it travel-friendly. At the top of the cap and at the bottom of the lipstick, is mentioned the shade number. However, there is no ingredient list mentioned and also the packaging is not colour coordinated so, it will be difficult to quickly find out the shade that you are looking for. Overall, the packaging is OK, however, nothing fancy can be expected at a price point of 100/-. So, I am pretty ok with it.

My Experience With Elle 18 Color Pops Silk Lipstick – W52
The shade W52 is a beautiful wine shade. It is a mix of purple and pink shade with dark pink taking the supreme tone. The shade will suit every skin tone. The lipstick is enriched with the goodness of cocoa butter and vitamin E so, it glides on the lips very easily. Moreover, it offers great pigmentation. Two swipes are enough to get the bold pout.
The lipstick has a mild fruity fragrance that vanishes after the application. It settles into a creamy, satiny and silky finish. It keeps the lips moisturized and make them look supple and smooth. So, it is perfect for those who have dry lips.
As lipstick has a creamy texture and offers silky finish so, it is not transfer proof and smudge proof. The lipstick stays for 3 hours without disturbing, however, cannot survive meals. After 3 hours, it fades but leaves a deep stain on the lips that looks pretty. So, after 3 hours re-application is required.
Overall, I am happy with Elle 18 Color Pops Silk Lipstick as it is enriched with the goodness of cocoa butter and vitamin E, glides easily on the lips, keeps them moisturized and make them look supple, settles into silky finish, perfect for those having dry lips, offers good pigmentation, has a mild fruity fragrance and is very affordable. So, I would definitely recommend buying this lipstick.
