The container comes encased in a very cute jute bag that can be reused to keep some small essentials. I absolutely loved the eco-friendly packaging that the product comes in. My Experience With NicoLips Lip Lightening Scrub Balm

For the first time, I have heard of a lip scrub that can be used by smokers to get rid of dark patches caused by nicotine intake while smoking. However, there are some other factors as well that can cause the darkening of lips such as – pollution, suntan, certain medications, dehydration, make-up, caffeine consumption in excess, lip licking, etc. This product can be used by both genders.

The lip scrub is reddish in colour and has a gel-like texture. It has a strong fruity fragrance that I really liked. All you need to do is take a little quantity of the product and apply it to your lips. Give massage in circular motions for about 30-60 seconds and let it sit on your lips for 1-2 minutes and then rinse off.

A lip scrub is made up of two components – an exfoliant and a nourishing agent. The nourishing agent offers a hydrating base for the exfoliator and helps in an easy application on your lips. Both these components go hand in hand and help in smoothing and moisturizing your lips.

The scrub contains very fine oat and walnut particles that offer mild exfoliation and doesn’t harm the delicate skin of the lips. It also contains natural moisturizing oils and butter such as shea butter, olive oil, carrot seed oil, rosehip oil, wheatgerm oil that help in repairing the dry and chapped lips. The presence of beetroot extract helps in lightening the dark and pigmented lips.

NicoLips Lip Lightening Scrub Balm really helps in removing the dead skin from the lips and keeps them hydrated as well hence, justifying its name ‘scrub balm’. The lips don’t feel dry post rinsing. Though my lips are not that pigmented but yes, due to regular use of lipsticks, a little pigmentation is there which this product has catered to very well. So, I really liked it and I make sure to use it twice a week to get a healthy and smooth pout.
