My Experience With Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Cream

The cream is white in colour and has a buttery consistency. It has a soft, creamy texture and has a cocoa-rich fragrance. When you first apply the cream, you will feel the strong aroma however, as the day wears on, the fragrance fades and will not remain that strong. But if you are sensitive to cocoa-rich fragrance then, you may not like this product.

The cream spreads over the skin smoothly and gets absorbed into the skin quickly with a little massage. This is the best part about this cream as such a quick-to-apply body cream really helps when you are rushing on weekdays for office.

Efficacy

I have dry skin and I am applying this cream after taking bath in the morning. It really helps in removing the dryness of the skin making it soft and smooth instantly. The cream contains cocoa butter and Vitamin E that have rich moisturizing properties and hydrate the skin deeply. If you have itchy, dry skin then this cream can definitely help in soothing itchiness and redness. The good part about this cream is that it doesn’t feel sticky or greasy however, for the initial few minutes you will feel the greasiness but once it gets absorbed completely that feeling vanishes.

Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Cream claims to deliver intense moisture to dry skin for up to 48 hours however, this is not the case. But yes, it effectively keeps the skin moisturised for around 8-10 hours. I also make sure to apply this cream on my clean hands, elbow, feet and knees as these areas need more care before going to bed at night and this cream really helps in repairing my skin and keeps it well-moisturised.

Overall, I really liked Nivea Cocoa Butter Body Cream as it is one easy-to-use package that offers both a lightweight formula and deep moisturization. Super spreadable and quick to absorb, I feel it is a great option for those who are looking for a moisturizer that goes on quick and stays on the whole day through.
