NY Bae is an affordable brand that offers various makeup products such as lipsticks, lip liners, kajal, concealer, contour & colour corrector sticks, makeup primer etc. I have already shared the reviews of almost all NY Bae products in my previous blogs. So, please make sure to check those as well. NY Bae brand is only available at purplle.com. Recently, the brand has launched a new range of metallic liquid lipsticks. I have tried the lipstick and so, here is its detailed review.

Packaging

NY Bae Metallic Liquid Lipstick comes in a transparent plastic tube with a black coloured cap. The applicator provided is flat and flexible and is attached to the cap. The name and number of the shade are mentioned on the top of the cap and on the bottom of the tube as well. There is no outer packaging. However, the lipstick comes wrapped in a plastic covering. Only the price and expiry date is mentioned on the lipstick. However, the packaging is quite sturdy and convenient to carry and therefore, it is travel-friendly.

Colour, Texture & Finish Of NY Bae Metallic Liquid Lipstick – Seven Bwitches 3

The lipstick has a beautiful metallic brown shade. It has a creamy texture. Some very fine gold shimmery particles can be seen in the lipstick. It glides smoothly and easily on the lips and dries up quickly in just 30-40 seconds. The applicator provided is quite flexible and gives a smooth and precise application. However, the lipstick does give that stretchy feeling to my lips initially but after 5-6 minutes that feeling goes away. The formula is quite comfortable to wear. In addition, it doesn’t feel heavy on my lips.

NY Bae Metallic Liquid Lipstick – Seven Bwitches 3 settles into a completely matte finish however, I can’t say that it gives that metallic touch as it claims to give. The very fine shimmery gold particles can hardly be seen in daylight, however, are visible to some extent under artificial lights.

The lipstick is super-pigmented. It gives good colour pay off in a single swipe. I also applied the second layer of the lipstick to check whether it pulls off the applied product or not. But, I was successful in building up the second layer.

Longevity Of NY Bae Metallic Liquid Lipstick – Seven Bwitches 3

The lipstick stays for good 7-8 hours. It can survive drinks and light snacks. However, it starts fading from the corners of my upper lips after a full meal. As the formula is a little drying, so make sure to properly exfoliate your lips and apply a good lip balm before the application of the lipstick. The lipstick is smudge proof, transfer resistant and water resistant. Furthermore, it is not easy to remove this lipstick. A good quality makeup remover is required for that.
