As shared above in my previous posts, Shakti Mohan – A famous Dancer-choreographer and TV personality has launched her own cosmetic line and has turned into a beauty entrepreneur. This beauty line is launched in collaboration with purplle.com and is called NY Bae x Shakti. The range consists of bullet lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, nail lacquers and eyeliners. I have already shared my review on NY Bae X Shakti Creamy Matte Lipstick and NY Bae X Shakti Liquid Lipstick so, make sure to check these posts as well. Now, let’s see how eyeliner performed. The liquid eyeliner is available in 3 colours – Green, Black & Blue and I have purchased the Green (Jazz) so, here is its detailed review.

Packaging

NY Bae X Shakti Liquid Eyeliner comes in a tiny, green coloured pot. It is provided with rose gold coloured long, sleek cap over it. It is quite sleek and small which makes it easy to carry around. The eyeliner comes encased in a rose gold cardboard box that bears some product-related details on it.

My Experience With NY Bae X Shakti Liquid Eyeliner

As shared above, I have the eyeliner in the shade Jazz which is a dark green shade. I was having eyeliners in the shade black, blue and brown so, I decided to go for the green one. I was a little hesitant before buying this shade as I was not sure whether it will suit my skin tone or will I be able to carry it well? But honestly, the shade looked really nice on me and I believe it will beautifully match with all skin tones.

The liner comes with a long handle and is designed perfectly to fit between the fingers for smooth and perfect application. The liner has a Flexi-style tip which is so perfect for a thin, thick or winged look. It has a thin, liquidy consistency and glides easily on eyes without any tugging. The application is so smooth that I never faced any problem to draw thick to thin line with it. It takes 3-4 minutes to get dry and offers a matte finish. The liner is decently pigmented but you need to go for 2-3 swipes for getting an intense colour. The formula is good and you need not apply pressure for drawing the lines on your eyes.

The good part about NY Bae X Shakti Liquid Eyeliner is that it is smudge-proof. However, it is not water-proof and can be removed with water. But it is water-resistant and will not bleed on coming in contact with water. The liner doesn’t irritate my eyes and never moves from its place automatically making it apt for a daily wear liner. On my oily lids, it stays for good 5-6 hours.
