Packaging

Nykaa Lips Dont Lie Line & Fill Lip Liner – Chocolate Boy 10 comes encased in a colour coded cardboard box. You will find the name of the product engraved on the box along with the images of beautiful pouts. A lot of information about the product is mentioned on the box such as product description, the complete ingredient list, the shade name and number, shelf life etc.

Inside the box, lies the actual product. Nykaa Lips Dont Lie Line & Fill Lip Liner – Chocolate Boy 10 is a medium-sized wooden pencil that needs sharpening which means the product wastage. Moreover, it doesn’t come with a sharpener.

The good part about the packaging is that the body of the liner matches with the colour of the liner. This enables the easy identification of the shade. However, the shade name is mentioned on the liner. The liner is wrapped in a transparent sheet that bears a sticker on which the shelf life is mentioned. However, when you remove that sheet, the sticker will come off along and so, you have to keep the outer cardboard box to keep a check on the expiry date or you can write it down on the liner with the help of a permanent marker.

My Experience With Nykaa Lips Dont Lie Line & Fill Lip Liner – Chocolate Boy 10

Chocolate Boy 10 is a beautiful n*de brownish shade that will suit medium to fair skin types. I absolutely liked the shade as it is perfect shade to wear for office. This liner will complement brown n*de lipstick shades.

Texture, Pigmentation & Finish

Nykaa Lips Dont Lie Line & Fill Lip Liner – Chocolate Boy 10 has a soft and creamy texture. It glides easily on the lips and no tugging or pulling is required during application. Moreover, the liner is quite pigmented and so can be easily used to fill the lips. The liner settles into a matte finish. Though the liner doesn’t dry out the lips but it is not moisturizing either. So, make sure to apply a lip balm before using it to fill the entire lips as it emphasizes the fine lines of the lips.

Staying Power

Nykaa Lips Dont Lie Line & Fill Lip Liner – Chocolate Boy 10 stayed on my lips for 3-4 hours. This liner is not waterproof as it claims to be. Moreover, it transfers and cannot survive meals. After having a full meal you need to reapply it.
