Nykaa has come up with its second range of lip balm called – Serial Kisser Lip Balm. Nykaa’s first range of lip balms – Lip Crush Macaron Lip Balm was a great hit and I have shared the detailed review so, you can check that as well. Why the name Serial Kisser Lip Balm? The reason is that we are going to kiss this formula practically throughout the day hence, the name Serial Kisser is given. Now, let’s see the detailed review.

Packaging

Nykaa Serial Kisser Lip Balm – Pomegranate comes in a retractable bullet which is quite hygienic and is easy to use. The body of the lip balm is pink in colour that represents the variant. On the cap is made a nice wavy pattern that makes the packaging quite attractive. The expiry date, price etc. is mentioned on the body and the variant name is written on the base of the lip balm.

The lip balm itself comes encased in a colour coordinated outer cardboard packaging that bears product description. Overall, the lip balm is tiny, lightweight and can easily fit into your purse so that you can have kissable lips on the go.

My Experience With Nykaa Serial Kisser Lip Balm

As shared above, I have purchased the lip balm in the variant – Pomegranate. The lip balm appears light pink in colour but it is a not a tinted one. It is a clear lip balm and doesn’t give any colour to the lips. Nykaa serial kisser lip balm – pomegranate has a mild fruity fragrance that doesn’t resemble pomegranate scent however, it vanishes after a few seconds.

The lip balm is enriched with vitamin E, jojoba oil and almond oil and has a very creamy texture. It glides very easily on the lips and makes the lips look glossy. After the application, lips look healthy and the lip balm adds a natural glow to them. The lip balm doesn’t feel heavy on the lips and is non-sticky. The formula is light and smooth and instantly heals the dry lips making them soft, smooth, supple and hydrated. As I have dry lips so they always crave for moisturisation and the moisture content that this lip balm provides is satisfactory.

 If I compare it with Nykaa Lip Crush Macaron Lip Balm, the formula feels almost the same to me. However, the best part is that Nykaa Serial Kisser Lip Balm comes in a bullet form which is quite convenient to use and is hygienic.

Staying Power Of Nykaa Serial Kisser Lip Balm

The lip balm claims to lock in the moisture all day long however, it doesn’t fulfill that claim. Without disturbing, the lip balm keeps the lips moisturized for 2-3 hours and after that needs re-application. However, like other lip balms available in the market, it cannot survive meals.

Overall, I really liked this lip balm as it has a soft, creamy texture, glides so easily and smoothly on the lips, offers instant moisturisation to the dry lips, keeps them soft, supple and hydrated for 2-3 hours and is quite economical and easy to carry. So, if you are looking for a non-tinted lip balm then you can definitely go for this lip balm.

Not So Good About Nykaa Serial Kisser Lip Balm

• Staying power is not that impressive.
• The ingredient list is not mentioned.
