My Experience With Ponds Vitamin Micellar Water D – Toxx Charcoal

The micellar water is transparent and has a water-like consistency. The good part about the product is that it has no fragrance which is a boon for sensitive noses.

For the first time, I have heard micellar water containing vitamins so, I was excited to try it out. You can use it for the entire face that includes eyes and lips as well right. As per the usage directions, I took some amount of the product onto a cotton pad and started with the process. The good part is that it doesn’t cause any sort of irritation to my sensitive skin. Moreover, it is non-oily and doesn’t leave behind any greasy residue so, you don’t really need to wash your face post-application. It makes it a good option for travelling and for those days when you feel lazy to go and wash your face.

Waterproof Liquid Lipstick Remains

Ponds Vitamin Micellar Water D – Toxx Charcoal is effective in removing my base makeup like foundation, powder, concealer, blush and brows, etc. and also removes dirt and impurities. You can say it is effective in removing everyday makeup. Now, comes the question whether it is effective in removing waterproof makeup or not?

For removing waterproof mascara, more amount of product is required and you need to give multiple swipes to remove it. However, it can easily remove waterproof liner and kajal without causing any irritation to the eyes. But it doesn’t really work on the waterproof liquid lipstick. I tried removing Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipstick but I had to use a lot of product multiple times and with vigorous rubbing, I was able to get it removed and that too not completely. A little stain was left behind. So, I am not really impressed with its ability to remove waterproof makeup. I think Nivea Micellar Rose Water will remain my favourite micellar water.

The micellar water also claims to add glow to the skin however, I didn’t find any. But yes, post usage, the skin definitely looks clean and soft.
