According to the information that I collected about these two ingredients – Triethyleneglycol is a fragrance ingredient and a viscosity decreasing agent. It is considered safe. Phenoxyethanol is used as a natural replacement for paraben and is used as a preservative in skin care products.

VLCC Ayurveda Haldi & Tulsi Face Wash is a light lemon in colour that is colour coded according to the ingredient present in it. The face wash is a gel-based product and has a consistency that is not too runny but is on the fluid side. It has a fragrance of raw Haldi that vanishes after wash.

My Experience With VLCC Ayurveda Haldi & Tulsi Facewash

As the face wash is a soap-free formulation so, it doesn’t lather up much. However, it removes dirt and impurities from the pores and cleanses the skin effectively. Only a small quantity is enough to cleanse the face. It makes the skin look clean and bright post wash.

VLCC Ayurveda Haldi & Tulsi Face Wash refreshes the dull skin and brings back its natural glow. The best part is that it doesn’t dry out the skin. You will not get that stretchy feel on the face post washing. Though, there is no information given about the suitability of this face wash for any specific skin type but I believe that it will work best for all skin types.

VLCC Ayurveda Haldi & Tulsi Face Wash contains tulsi and haldi that have anti-bacterial properties and can fight acne-causing bacteria. So, the face wash is apt for acne-prone skin.

Overall, I really liked VLCC Ayurveda Haldi & Tulsi Face Wash as it is made up of natural ingredients, soap-free formulation, paraben free, cleanse skin well, doesn’t dry out the skin, travel-friendly and is quite affordable. Therefore, I would strongly recommend buying this face wash.
