Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator comes in a small, clear plastic jar and is provided with a silver metallic screw cap. Beneath the cap, is given a thin plastic tray for keeping the jar mess free. The jar itself comes encased in a peach coloured cardboard box with all the product-related details mentioned on it. Overall, the packaging looks quite beautiful, classy and is travel-friendly as well. However, it is not hygienic as I need to dip my finger into the jar to get the product out.

My Experience With Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator

The hydrator has a soft, smooth and gel-like consistency. It appears light peachy in colour and has a very mild fruity fragrance. The hydrator spreads easily & smoothly on the skin and gets absorbed quickly. It is quite lightweight and doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the skin.

The moment the cream gets absorbed into the skin, it makes the skin look fresh and plump. You can actually feel the softness, smoothness and hydration that this cream offers to the skin making it look glowy and healthy. One thing that I have observed that the cream offers a cooling and soothing effect to the skin and I believe that is because of the fact that it contains aloe vera in it which further enhances the goodness of the product.

The hydrator claims that it comes with Auto-Replenishing Technology that helps the skin to create its own internal water source thereby locking in all that moisture for an endlessly plump, dewy, healthy-looking glow. I believe it fulfills this claim because if I am sitting in an AC environment for the whole day, my skin doesn’t feel dry and it feels as if it is creating a balance of hydration automatically.

My husband is having oily skin and he also gave this hydrator a try and found that during summers his skin feels a little bit sweatier. So, if you are having oily skin make sure to use the minimal product. On the other hand, if you are the one having dry skin type, then this cream definitely heals dryness, repairs rough texture making it soft, smooth and healthy. The cream fulfills its claim that it is suitable for all skin types.

Further, the cream claims to work for 72 hours so, let’s see whether it fulfills this claim or not. I apply the cream in the morning and it effectively keeps my skin hydrated for the whole day and I have tested it for 15-16 hours. However, after washing the face, I do feel the need to apply moisturizer.

 I am using this cream as day and night cream and also before applying makeup to keep my skin hydrated throughout the day. Sometimes, I mix it with my foundation to get a tinted moisturizer which doesn’t feel greasy or oily.

Overall, I absolutely loved Clinique Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator and will definitely recommend buying this.
