1. Hair Massage With Flax Seed Oil
Material Required
- 2 tablespoons of Flax seed oil
What All You Need To Do
- Take flax seed oil in a clean glass bowl and keep this bowl on hot water bath so as to make the oil slightly warm.
- With this oil, massage your scalp for about 10 minutes and then work it through your hair.
- Now take a towel and dip it in hot water and squeeze the excess water properly. Now, wrap your hair with this towel.
- Let this towel on for 30 minutes and then wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
- This hot towel treatment will allow the flax seed oil to penetrate the roots and hair shaft and will provide the required nourishment thereby making hair healthy.

2. Flaxseed Hair Spritz
Next, on the list of ways to use flax seeds for hair growth is to make a hair spritz. This hair spritz will offer the required amount of moisture and nourishment to the hair. Make this spritz and spray it on your dry hair and allow it to do its magic.
Material Required
- 1 tablespoon Flax seed oil
- 1 tablespoon Sunflower oil
- 4 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon Glycerin
- 2-3 drops of lavender essential oil
What All You Need To Do
- Take a spray bottle and add all the ingredients.
- You can change the quantities according to the length of your hair.
- Give the bottle a good shake so as to mix the ingredients well. Spray this on your scalp and hair.
- Leave it at least for 1 hour or you can also leave for overnight and shampoo your hair the next morning.
3. Olive Oil & Flax Seed Hair Mask
Material Required
- 3 tablespoons Flax seed gel
- 2 tablespoons Almond milk
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
What All You Need To Do
- Take all the ingredients in a clean bowl.
- Whip all the ingredients well.
- The texture of this mixture after whipping looks quite similar to those of eggs.
- Apply this mixture to the scalp and hair.
- Make sure to keep the mask on for at least 1 hour however, the longer you leave it in the better it will be.
- Shampoo your hair and follow your normal hair care routine.

4. Egg & Flax Seed Hair Mask
Furthermore, on the list of ways to use flax seeds for hair growth is to prepare a hair mask with eggs. Our hair is made up of 70% Keratin, which is a type of protein. Eggs are a rich source of proteins. So, eating eggs or applying them in the form of a mask can help in getting beautiful thick long hair. Eggs also contain vitamins and especially biotin that help in promoting hair growth and reduce hair loss. Eggs also have some minerals like sulphur, copper, zinc, selenium, etc. that help in controlling hair fall. So, eggs are really good for our hair.

- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds powder
- An egg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil/coconut oil
What All You Need To Do
- Take some flaxseeds and grind them to powder in a grinder.
- Now, take one tablespoon of this powder in a clean bowl and add the other two ingredients.
- Mix well and apply this mixture to your scalp and hair.
- Keep this for 40-45 minutes and shampoo your hair with cold water.
