I have already shared my review of Plum Wild Cherries & Kiwi Body Lotion and Shower Gel and I really liked these products. So, I decided to give Plum Chamomile & White Tea Sheer Matte Day Cream a try as this cream is meant for normal and combination types and I have a combination skin.

How To Use Plum Chamomile & White Tea Sheer Matte Day Cream?

• Apply the cream on your face by putting one dot each on forehead, cheeks, nose & chin (5 dots in all).
• Massage the cream in gently with the fingertips in small upward-outward circles.
• Make sure to apply the cream on neck & arms.
• Reapply after 3-4 hours.
• Apply the cream at least 10 mins before you step out in the sun to allow the sunscreen to settle down and stay effective.

The Cream comes in a white coloured tube with a flip open cap. All the product related information like the complete ingredients list, claims, usage directions are mentioned on the tube. It comes encased in an outer cardboard packaging on which all the product details are mentioned. Overall, the packaging is sturdy, hygienic and travel-friendly.

Colour, Texture & Fragrance

The cream is white in colour and has a creamy texture. Though, it has a thick consistency but it has a light texture that spreads easily on the face. It has a mild soothing fragrance that I really like.

My Experience

The thing that I really liked about this cream is that it contains SPF 50 that allows me to skip the application of one product which is sunscreen. Simply apply this cream 10 minutes before stepping out in the sun and it will offer you protection against harmful sun’s radiations.

Another reason behind buying Plum Chamomile & White Tea Sheer Matte Day Cream is that it is meant for normal and combination skin and I have combination skin and my husband is having normal skin type. So, we both can use this product. Now, let’s see whether the cream served the purpose or not.

As per the usage directions, I applied the cream on the exposed areas of my skin. The cream gets absorbed easily into the skin and a little quantity is enough to cover the whole face. The best part is that unlike other creams containing SPF, this cream doesn’t leave any white cast on the skin. Moreover, it settles into an oil-free matte finish after 5 minutes of application. So, people with dry skin should skip this product. The cream keeps your skin matte for 3-4 hours and after that re-application is required. Make sure to apply this cream in little amount else it will feel heavy on the skin.

The only downside of this cream is that it is not water or sweat resistant so, if you are a person that sweats a lot then this product is not for you or you can apply this cream during the winter season.

Overall, I really liked Plum Chamomile & White Tea Sheer Matte Day Cream as it has SPF 50 PA +++, gets absorbed into the skin easily, doesn’t leave any white cast, gives oil-free matte finish, required in lesser quantity and is free from parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, SLES, DEA, PABA & animal-derived ingredients. All these factors make it an ideal day cream.

• Not water or sweat resistant
