Vaseline has recently launched a new range of lip balms in the form of chapstick. The range includes 4 variants – Cherry, Strawberry, Apricot and Original. How To Use?

• From the blister pack, remove the Vaseline Chapstick and uncap the stick from top.
• Twist turn the bottom of stick for the bullet to come out.
• Apply a layer of balm on your lips by rubbing the bullet gently.
• With your favourite tint, get moisturized lips for 24 hours.
• Apply daily for soft and gorgeous lips.

Packaging

The lip balm comes in a colour coordinated retractable bullet tube and is encased in a blister pack. Some product-related details are given at the backside of the pack. The packaging is quite sleek, light-weight and hygienic. The cap provided on the tube closes with a click sound that makes the product secure. So, it is travel-friendly as well.

My Experience With Vaseline Lip Therapy Color & Care Chapstick

As shared above, I have purchased the chapstick in the shade Cherry which is reddish in colour. It has a smooth, creamy & buttery texture and glides on the lips easily. It has a fruity bubblegum kind of fragrance that stays for some time and can be bothering for sensitive noses.

As it is a tinted lip balm so, I was expecting a fair amount of tint on my lips however, it is not that pigmented and even after giving multiple swipes it didn’t give the required colour to my lips. So, if you are looking for a tinted lip balm then, I would suggest you to go for Maybelline Alia Loves New York Baby Lips Lip Balm.

Let’s talk about the moisturisation that this lip balm offers. It is quite effective in keeping my lips moisturized as it is infused with the goodness of Vaseline jelly, shea butter, almond oil and cocoa butter. It doesn’t feel sticky or heavy on the lips and gives a nice healthy natural colour and shine to the pout. The chapstick takes away the paleness and dryness of the lips making them look soft and glossy. It will definitely heal up the dry and chapped lips with regular use and will be a good option for keeping the lips moisturized during the winter season.  However, it doesn’t come with any SPF.

Staying Power Of Vaseline Lip Therapy Color & Care Chapstick

Now, let’s talk about the staying power of this product. It claims to offer 24-hour moisturisation however, it is not the case. It stays for 3-4 hours and with the consumption of some food, it fades and needs reapplication. However, even after it fades, my lips still feel soft and smooth.

Overall, I feel the chapstick is a good daily treatment for lips.
