Packaging

VLCC Insta Glow Gel Bleach comes in a shiny, bright, aqua blue coloured cardboard box. Inside the box lie one sachet of pre-bleach and post-bleach gel, one tiny plastic container of gel bleach and one container of powder activator with a spatula. A leaflet is also inserted in the box on which the usage directions are mentioned in different languages.

My Experience With VLCC Insta Glow Gel Bleach

The bleach has a gel-like consistency and is transparent. Unlike other bleach creams, this bleach has a very nice mild flowery fragrance which is a plus point. The typical fragrance that usually comes from some other bleach creams is very irritating and headache-inducing. But with this product, it is not the case so, I am really happy.

As per the usage directions, I washed my face and neck and applied pre-bleach gel. The pre-bleach gel is transparent and of course, has a gel-like texture. It has a little strong fragrance however, it vanishes quickly after the application. The gel spreads easily on the face and with a little massage gets absorbed into the skin. The pre-bleach gel helps to prepare the skin for the bleaching process.

After this step, I mixed the bleach gel and activator in the ratio of 6.5:1 thoroughly and applied on my face and neck. The mixture spreads easily on the face and within a few seconds, it started appearing white. Initially, the bleach gave a little tingling and burning sensation on my skin but later it subsided. However, it gave a little discomfort to my eyes and made them cry.

Efficacy Of VLCC Insta Glow Gel Bleach

I kept the bleach on my face for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. The bleach claims to lighten facial hair to match the skin tone perfectly and it actually fulfilled that claim. It also helped in removing tan and dullness from the skin thereby making the skin look clean, more even-toned and radiant. After the application, it didn’t cause any redness on my sensitive skin.

After rinsing off my face, I applied post bleach gel which is transparent and has a mild refreshing fragrance. Initially, the gel feels a little sticky however, once it gets absorbed into the skin completely, the stickiness vanishes and it settles into a matte finish. This post-bleach gel helps in soothing and calming down the skin after the whole application procedure.

Overall, my experience with VLCC Insta Glow Gel Bleach was amazing but the only thing which bothered me was that it gave a little discomfort to my eyes. Other than this, there is nothing that I disliked about the product.
