Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer comes in a plastic transparent tube packaging. It is provided with a black screw cap to which the wand applicator is attached. On the tube is written the product and the brand name in golden fonts. A tiny sticker is there on the tube mentioning the shade name.

Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer comes housed in a shiny rose gold cardboard box. A small transparent area is provided on the box so as to display the shade. The box bears all the product-related details on it. Overall, the packaging is really nice, attractive and travel-friendly.

My Experience With Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer – You Took My Love

The shade You Took My Love is a bright pink fuschia shade. This shade is perfect for some parties or occasions. Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer has a little thick, creamy texture and glides easily on the lips. It appears streaky on one application however, can be layered up for an even finish of colour. Make sure not to rub your lips immediately after the application as rubbing can make it appear patchy.

Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer is richly pigmented and takes around 1-2 minutes to settle into completely matte finish. Initially the lacquer feels sticky until it settles down. It is quite comfortable on the lips and doesn’t dry out the lips much. If you have extremely dry lips then make sure to prep them before the application otherwise it will highlight the dry patches.

Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lip Lacquer is transfer-proof and stays for 6-7 hours on my lips. However, with heavy or oily food, it fades from the inner parts of the lips. To remove this lip lacquer, I use Nivea Micellar Rose Water.

• The formula is drying for dry lips and will highlight the dry patches.
• Fades unevenly.
